I [W4RIS] finally had time to upload some Pigeon Key photos given to me by Rudy [KF4OM], Paul [N2PK] and Hank [N3HV].

Fellow expeditionary,
These are the details for the 2006 expedition to Pigeon Key. Before I
start with the details, you must remember that a minimum of 10 people
have to sign up for the trip prior to the deposit being sent. Last year
I had a hard time but finally was able to sign up 10 people. Please remember
there is NO REFUND of the deposit or final payment unless Pigeon Key is
closed do to weather conditions.
Date: October 6, 7, 8 2006. We will arrive after 12 noon on October
6, 2006 and depart around noon on October 8, 2006.
Location: We will again be staying in the Bridge Tender’s
house.
Meals: The clubs elected to have their dinner off site. The Pigeon
Key staff will provide; breakfast and lunch on Saturday and a breakfast
on Sunday.
Cost: $50.00 per person per night. (Total of $100.00 for the two
nights per person) for the lodging. Meals will be an additional $20.00
per person total for the 3 meals. The total cost per person will be $120.00
for the stay.
Timing: Timing is everything. Because we only have meetings once
a month, the following schedule will be put in place and adhered to. If
additional members would like to attend after the deposit has been made,
they can still be added up till the time of the final payment.
Deposit: The non refundable deposit will be collected at the BRARA
meeting on August 1, 2006 and the FAU meeting on August 15, 2006. This
will be $60.00 per person (lodging $50.00 and meals $10.00).
Final Payment: Final payment will be collected at the BRARA meeting
on September 5, 2006 and at the FAU meeting on September 19, 2006. This
will be $60.00 per person (lodging $50.00 and meals $10.00). The final
payment will be sent to Pigeon Key on September 22, 2006 and no additional
members can be added after the final payment is sent.
